Welcome to our Barber of the Month series, where we highlight talented barbers from different areas and stages in their career. This month we’re highlighting Terrence Harris! He achieved his lifelong dream of being a barber and continues to stay true to his individuality when it comes to his work. He is based out of North Carolina. CM:	Tell us about yourself: (education/training, years of experience, specialty, etc.)
TH:	I am a graduate of Alamance Barber Institute in North Carolina and love the profession of barbering. At this institute I gained valuable knowledge that has helped me in the field to be confident performing professional barbering services.
CM:	What made you want to become a barber?
TH:	I have wanted to be a barber since I was a child at 12 years old. To me the many ways of being creative is the very foundation of barbering.
CM:	What is a moment in your career that you are most proud of?
TH:	No doubt the proudest moment in my career had nothing to do with a haircut. One day God led me to introduce someone to Jesus Christ by giving them a haircut. Years later, this individual wrote me a note from jail and stated these words that have always stuck with me. " Who would have known, all this could come from just a haircut".

CM:	What was the biggest challenge in becoming a barber? How did you overcome it?
TH:	My biggest challenge came while attending barber school. In North Carolina you are required to obtain 1528 hours of time before you can graduate and take the state test. My biggest challenge was working a full-time job while attending school and transferring schools in that process.
CM:	What inspires your work (hometown, music, sports, art, etc.)?
TH:	I’m inspired by creatives such as other barbers, tools, products and musicians.

CM:	Any advice for aspiring barbers?
TH:	Don't try to be the "best barber" or better than anyone else. To me that's wasted energy. Instead focus on being the best version of yourself.
CM:	What's the best barber tip you’ve ever discovered?
TH:	Can't say I discovered it, but my barber Mentor Mr. Lawrence Graves told me something that has stuck with me. "Don't try to compete against other barbers and claim customers as your own like ‘That's my customer.’ Rather,look at God as being your source and just enjoy being a barber and look to the "Source" to supply you with all you need.
CM:	Favorite men's grooming trend right now?
TH:	My favorite trend is Men's grooming. I enjoy seeing us men as leaders taking care of our grooming needs which include regular trips to the barbershop and haircuts that are examples of our styles. Such as Fades and Pompadours. Then mixing that with high-quality products to help you maintain that style at home.

CM:	What song is essential for your shop's playlist?
TH:	I enjoy Beatstrumentals
CM:	Favorite thing to do after a long day at the shop?
TH:	Grab a latte with the wife and pizza with the kids and watch a movie. Then fall asleep with the pizza box wide open lol.
CM:	If you could work on any celebrity/ athlete, who would it be?
TH:	Jonathan McReynolds.

CM:	What's the most essential item in your grooming kit (other than Clubman products, of course)?
TH:	Clubman Hair Spray, Tres Flores Pomade, and Whiskey Woods Aftershave
CM:	When/how did you discover Clubman?
TH:	When I first purchased the Clubman Powder
CM:	What are your top three Clubman products?
TH:	Clubman Powder, Clubman Aftershave tonics and Clubman bump relief.
CM:	Anything else you would like people to know about you? (I.E. What would someone never guess about you? etc.)
TH:	I am also a musician.
